Nvidia GPU driver not showing up after accidental Uninstall

I accidentally uninstalled my Nvidia driver for my GeForce GT 540m GPU.
I completely uninstalled it from the control panel.

I have an Acer Aspire Timeline X 3830TG.

 Now when I go to Nvidia's website and download the driver installer, the error pops up "Install cannot continue: this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware." This is the same for when I go to Acer's website and try to install the
drivers for my computer model exactly, the same error occurs.
I have spent hours googling and troubleshooting this problem, but so far I have been unsuccessful.
When I go to my device manager and click on display devices, only my Intel HD driver shows up,
and my Nvidia one is no where to be found on the entire list.
Also, I have tried restoring my computer to factory conditions and that still didn't download it, so system restore is not an option.
I don't know what to do and I really need to have my Nvidia
GPU working again, someone please help me.
